• Ground owners: name, email, and ground details you provide.
• Team captains: name, phone number, and team name provided when booking.
• Payment information: ground fees are paid directly by captains to ground owners via UPI; we do not process, store, or have access to your card or UPI credentials. If Book the Wicket charges its own platform/service fee, that payment is processed securely by a licensed payment gateway partner.
• Technical data: basic usage and device information for security and improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage bookings and accounts.
• To share booking details with the relevant ground owner so they can identify and verify your payment.
• To send transactional notifications (e.g., verification and booking confirmation).
• To maintain the security and integrity of the service.

3. Sharing of Information

We share a captain's booking details (name, phone, team, slot) with the relevant ground owner so they can prepare for the booking and verify payment. We do not sell your personal data. We share data with service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, and a payment gateway only if a platform/service fee applies) as needed to operate the service.

4. Data Security

Passwords are stored only as encrypted (hashed) values. Any payment processed through a gateway is handled by a PCI-compliant provider. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain booking and account data for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
